Who better to craft the warning sounds of coastal and harbor bells than a lobsterman from Maine.

Having spent many years along the craggy New England coastline, Jim Davidson knew intimately the sounds of the pounding seas and the harbor bell buoys and gongs. After many painstaking months of working varied pieces of steel, he was able to faithfully create his impression of the bell sounds, named for the areas he had worked those many years. The crafted result was the trade-marked line of North Country Wind Bells.

Every North Country Wind Bell is shaped from 60% recycled, high quality steel. All steel is powder coated for durability but is a "living finish" and will patina over time giving it a true, salty-seacoast appearance. The rugged North Country Wind Bells are designed to hang outdoors year-round and will not twist, tangle or break.

Included with your purchase of every North Country Wind Bell is a windcatcher of your choice (view windcatcher designs on product page). Additional wind catchers may be purchased to match the changing seasons or the wind-bell’s natural environment.
